Nicola emigrato negli USA nel 1920 non ha mai dimenticato il paese di origine: Brognaturo.  Ne e` testimone Elisabetta. Nicola, grandissimo amico di Musulinu (foto sotto) , arrivato nella sua nuova terra adottiva giovanissimo (la foto e` stata scattata il primo giorno del suo arrivo a Mineral Point nel Wisconsin) , porta sempre con se` il bellissimo ricordo  delle loro vivaci avventure di ragazzi. Ne parla sempre con i suoi  nipoti e racconta loro come lui da ragazzo insieme a Bava Antonio( musulinu) ne combinavano un po` di tutto. Racconta ridendo e forse con un pizzico di nostalgia e tutta la vita pensa sempre al suo grande amico che purtroppo non ha piu` rivisto. Nicola ci lascia  il 2 novembre del 2000 all`eta` di 91anni.

Nick emigrated in the USA in 1920 and he never forgot his country of origin: Brognaturo. Elisabeth, his niece, testifies to that. Nick, as a young boy had a great  friendship with f Musulinu (photo below). He  arrived in its new adopted land very young (the photo has  been taken  the first day of its arrival in  Mineral Point, Wisconsini)  and he always  kept  memories  of their lively adventures together as young  boys. In fact, he always spoke fondly of his best friend and all their adventures or misadventures to his children, nephews and nieces.  When ever he told stories he always laughed  with happiness and perhaps with a pinch of nostalgia. He always kept the memories of his friend  who unfortunately never saw again.  Nick left us November 2,  2000 at the age of 91.
