IL Messaggio del Presidente 
Mimmo Giordano

L'Associazione Socio Culturale "Brognaturo nel Cuore" constatato l'apprezzamento e la numerosa partecipazione al grande raduno degli emigrati da parte di tutta la cittadinanza brognaturese e dei paesi limitrofin non puo` esimersi dall'esprimere pubblicamente la sua gratitudine a quanti hanno creduto e sostenuto questo progetto realizzato con impegno e fatica.

Un ringraziamento particolare va: 

- Agli sponsors per il loro contributo.
- A tutti quei ragazzi e ragazze di Brognaturo che senza riserve si sono messi a disposizione della nostra associazione per collaborare alla messa in opera di ogni singola manifestazione.
- Alle signore della nostra comunita` che si sono prodigate ad imbandire riccamente il buffet offerto ai nostri emigrati.
- Alle persone che con amore e con la loro esperienza hanno lavorato per la buona riuscita della Sagra.
- Ai soci fondatori e ai tesserati di questa Associazione (sempre piu` numerosi) che sostengono i progetti e le idee, con il loro contributo e la loro assidua presenza.
Estendiamo altresi' i nostri ringraziamenti al Comune, alla Provincia e alla Regione per il loro patrocinio.
Ma un grande abbraccio e un 
      "ARRIVEDERCI A PRESTO"
va ai cari emigrati dei quali custodiamo nei nostri ricordi le loro emozioni e le loro lacrime che riteniamo siano il gradito ricompenso per il nostro impegno e per le nostre fatiche.

The Association "Brognaturo nel Cuore" (Brognaturo in the Heart) considering the participation and appreciation in large numbers of citizens from Brognaturo and surroundings at the "Big Get Together", would like to publicly express gratitude to those who believed and supported this project with commitment and effort.

- To all those boys and girls from Brognaturo whom without reservations,  put themselves at the disposal of our association to assist with the implementation of each event.
- To the ladies of our community who dedicated themselves to the richly laden buffet offered to our emigrants.
- To the people who have worked with love and with their experience for the success of the Sagra festival.
- To  the founding members and to all members of this group (still growing everyday) that support projects and ideas with their contribution and their constant presence.

A big hug and a

goes to our dear emigrants. We will keep in our memories their emotions and their tears that we believe are the best reward for our commitment and our efforts.

La Sfilata 2010

                                                                     Martedi' 31 agosto 2010 ha avuto luogo in piazza del popolo a Brognaturo, la sfilata di abiti tradizionali e di abiti da sposa organizzata e curata da Pina Grenci. Dopo tanto lavoro per i preparativi sembrava che la serata si sarebbe dovuta rimandare a causa del maltempo che nel tardo pomeriggio si era messo a piovere a dirotto. Ecco che pero' grazie alla Madonna della Consolazione che ha voluto premiare tutti i presenti venuti letteralmente da tutte le parti del mondo (e non erano pochi) e sopratutto l'organizzatrice (Pina), in serata smette di piovere e dopo qualche ora, giusto il tempo per fare gli ultimi ritocchi, lo spettacolo  puo' incominciare. Lo spettacolo e' stato non come quelli che vediamo sempre in televisione dove sapendo che tutti essendo professionisti ci aspettiamo tutto fatto alla perfezione ma a mio parere e' stato tutto ancora piu' bello  perche' i modelli e le modelle oltre ad essere dei bei giovani sono stati anche  bravissimi nelle loro esibizioni e gli applausi che hanno ricevuto sono stati veramente meritati.

                                                                     Tuesday, 'August 31, 2010 took place in Piazza del Popolo in Brognaturo, the parade of traditional costumes and wedding dresses. The event was  organized and taken care of  by Pina Grenci. After so much work into the preparations for the evening it seemed that almost  should have been postponed due to bad weather late in the afternoon. However, thanks to Our Lady of Consolation, who wanted to reward all who had come from, literally, all parts of the world (and they were many) and especially the organizer (Pina), it stopped raining. In the evening after a few hours, just long enough to do the finishing touches, the show started. The show was not like what we always see on television. On TV they are all professionals and  we expect everything done to perfection. In my opinion, this show was  even better because all of the models,  in addition to their beauty they were also very good in their performances and all of the applauses they received were truly deserved.
